The art is beautiful. It's packed with so much Legion history ( one of the last views of the Kara memorial ). It makes me nostalgic, sad and happy all at once. This is a GEM

Wait - how did the Kara statue get by the DC editors. Post Crisis, she did not exist and all traces of her existence past, present and future was wiped out. Yes- this page has special significance!

Hi Miki. IRRC, the editorial removal of the history of the Legion did not occur until sometime in 1989. Paul dealt with the cherished history of the Legion in the Baxter Era with Legion of Super-Heroes v3 #16 Baptism, this Hall of Heroes tribute in #31, and then Death of Superboy story in #37 and #38. Legion of Super-Heroes v4 #5 (aka the hour glass issue) retroactively changed their history and ended all Supergirl references. The post-Crisis Kara references in a Legion story is indeed rare.
