Description

During a rare vacation, Task Force X are out on a tour of the west and travelling along California's Pacific Coast Highway. When stopping at a quite seaside town for lunch, they meet up with none other that that famous canine Rex, the Wonder Dog and his owner.

Trouble seems to find this group of heroes, as a series of ghastly murders comes to a climax, along with sightings of a man-fish!

The Squad are investigating mysterious footprints on a local beach and are about to come face to face with MANPHIBIAN!

Wonderful work by Shawn - based on a classic Losers cover by Joe Kubert. As Alex Toth was one of my favorite legendary artists and Alex did work on Rex, I asked Shawn to give this a Toth-ish effect in the inks. Spectacular!

This also gives a well needed spotlight on one of the most underrated comic book monsters - Marvel's MANPHIBIAN!

OMG !!! I just commissioned this same cover with another artist & featuring Streaky. I will share it with you off-line but this turned out SO COOL. Well Done
