DescriptionI don’t know if you would call this one a grail but it’s pretty damn close.Through perseverance, hope, money and a bit of frustration I was able to get this page. In 1980 Bill Sienkiewicz started to evolve his signature-style and was really starting to grow not only as a comic artist, but as a fine artist. Bill was given the artistic duties on a new continuing series called Moon Knight where he could really sharpen his illustrative teeth. The striking image of Moon Knight, where he first appeared in costume in issue one maintains itself as being one of the most iconic images of the character as he is surrounded by his alter-egos stating each of their three personalities. Below, “Marc Spector” finds out that the killer of Marlene's father has returned, his nemesis, The Bushman. What a perfect example of image and story. I am extremely grateful to own the piece of marvel history and it was definitely worth the time and struggle. Social/Sharing |

A great piece, for sure. MK 1 was my first introduction to Sienkiewicz.

My brother Chris and I read this masterpiece over and over after snagging it from the news rack. One of the few #1 issues that actually lived up to the hype.Bushman was freaking creepy and Moon Knight was simply awesome. For all the reasons mentioned by you and others here this is a dynamic grab.

Better late than never, I now post the big 30th comment on this outstanding page. Bill took this character to exceptional heights, and this page shows how he did it.

I was a fan of this page way before the MCU even existed. This issue is what introduced me to Moon Knight. This is so beyond cool! So amazing!

I literally love Sienkievicz's Moon Knight. I never tire of rereading and leafing through them. What Marvel did with him in this TV series, so bad, is very sad. This page is the Moon Knight I like and Sienkiewicz's talent has continued to grow with each episode. Congratulations on this wonderful acquisition and thank you for sharing.
