DescriptionSeattle Emerald City Comicon 2016My friend John suggested I go by and check out the pencil drawings by Camilla d'Errico at her booth. She had put out about a dozen pieces in white frames. I was delighted to see this image featuring Mei and dust sprites from Hayao Miyazaki's My Neighbor Totoro. In the movie, Mei and her older sister are exploring an old country house and discover these small creatures in the attic. This is another great scene where Miyazaki depicts the humanity of his characters. Social/Sharing |
