Description

Simon Bisley and Lobo are synonymous.

Simon was going to be a guest at a show in Dallas and Kathy and I were going. I made a special point to find him and say, "Hi."

Okay, so why was I interested in seeing Simon? Well, on Thursday, my friend and former co-worker, Christy Tucker, ran into him at her hotel while on business in Dallas.

She texted me - while I was waiting for "Anything Goes" to start in the Hobby Center - asking, "Alex!! Simon Bisley do you know him?" The text included the first picture in the Additional Images.

I replied that we'd met at shows, but he wouldn't remember me. After a little back and forth, I said I'd make sure to stop by and say, "Hi."

Simon was glad to see me when I introduced myself and he suggested a picture which Kathy took. Apparently, the hand gesture is a complimentary one in the UK, right? (see Additional Images)
