DescriptionMr. Hyde has taken over Central Park and The Man Called Nova has arrived to evict him. At the same time Hyde's ex-partner, The Cobra has chosen the same moment to get revenge on the lumbering brute.Knowing the deck would be stacked against him, Cobra has recruited his new friends in the Serpent Squad, Princess Python and The Eel (along with new members, Constrictor and The Rattler),to even the odds and take Hyde down.(For those who can remember, The Rattler was a Spider-Man villain from the newspaper strip of the late 70's/early 80's) Nova must decide what the greater threat is and form an uneasy alliance before all hell breaks loose in Central Park and perhaps all of New York. This issue marks the return of William Allan Reyes who did my first Nova commission for me back in 2013. William knocked this out of the park, especially Mr. Hyde! I welcome him to my series and will have more from him in the months ahead! Next issue: A new villain and the return of Joe Singleton! See you in 30 or less! Social/Sharing |

Woulda been cool with just Hyde alone but the Squad has always been a fun idea so you get extra points for them ;)

Oh man, I love the Serpent Squad/Society! Great Captain America villains! I also really enjoyed when they went up against other Marvel characters, like that time they fought the X-Men. Would have loved to see them go at it with the New Warriors back in the 90's. Anywho, this looks great, especially in color!

I believe Constrictor was offered membership later and declined!I thought perhaps he accepted before the Society era began when the Squad was much smaller. Plus Cobra was paying him! :)
