Description
Mark is my all-time favorite Spider-Man artist (or at least tied with John Romita, Sr.) and when I think of Black Cat, his version is the first that comes to mind. I remember collecting the SPider-Man trading card set released in the mid-nineties. Mark did the art for the whole set and I just loved it (in addition to his comic work, of course). He was as important of an inclusion to my book as anyone could be.

So, I was crestfallen when I approached him about it and he politely declined, saying that he doesn't do sketchbooks. They pile up and they're bulky and unwieldy for him to keep track of. And I understood that. But I was still bummed.

And then I had an idea. What if I undid the binding of my book and took out a page so he wouldn't have to deal with the book, itself? Well, he kindly agreed to that, did the sketch, and now it's back in my book and I'm one happy little Mark Bagley/Black Cat fan.

Attained at Heroes Con 2016.
