DescriptionEmil did a crack up job on the rough & tumble classic Defenders cover. Senility must be setting in for me,because once again I had this inked twice by two different inkers; Doug Hazlewood and Chris Ivy. Both did a great job as you can see but I loved the tonal work on Chris' piece so that tipped it in the end, to him. It is a fun piece.One of the fun things about the Legion is the sheer size and epic nature of their battles. The Legion have been fighting their foes, Seven Ways to Sunday but they are giving as good as they have recieved. This is building to critical mass and a shocking climax.Enjoy Aidan Social/Sharing |

Yeah, every image here looks good, but those tones truly elevate the primary image quite a bit.

He has had a fair few covers already. Nemesis Kid & Omega are also part of this "Trinity Of Terror" so they will have their moment but rest assured we are not done with Pulsar Stargrave, not by a LONG SHOT ! (hint, hint)

Excellent homage cover, my friend!!!! I agree that although Doug's inks are solid, Chris really knocked this one out the park.

It's Saturday and there's another beautiful cover to a Legion book - wonderful. I just wish we had all the pages that should follow these covers. Thanks, Aidan
