Correct, truly one of Wrightson's finest covers, a deceptively simple design, what he is able to do with just a pen, brush & ink is masterful. I was both scared & excited when I first saw this cover as a kid. Congrats!

This is what a master can do with a minimalist image. Using the negative space as a key component of the visual. Superb. Bravo!

As many people have already noted, this is one of the greatest Wrightson covers and is a classic of the horror genre.

Beyond belief! Building an entire cover on fear alone takes a lot of artistic guts and the talent to pull it out!... Fortunately, Bernie Wrightson has talent in spades! Congrats for this beauty!
