Inks on 11x17" bristol board. I gave Jesse my usual pitch: Draw a team portrait of your favorite X-Men roster, you know, like the first page in Art Adams' Uncanny X-Men Annual #9. Well, he clearly knew the page I was talking about! I dig this piece and I hope you do too. I was also able to talk him out of his pencil prelim, which is also 11x17". I may like the pencils even more!

*Edit* Jesse's passing was a shock to me, and I didn't learn of it until a year after the fact. He was one of my favorite people to follow on twitter, but I'd left twitter years earlier. He was such a cool guy. RIP.
