Description

Cartoonist Nidhi Chanani drew this pretty girl in a red dress for the Cartoon Art Museum. She is creating a graphic novel Pashmina for publisher First Second. This 2017 release is covered by this Library School Journal article Graphic Novels Portray Bicultural America. I purchased this drawing at the Cartoon Art Museum exhibit room at the first San Francisco Comic Con. It was a smaller show in a ridiculously expensive city. I was happy to see a good number of comic artists make their first California appearance.
