I only really got into Krenkel a few years ago when I found Vanguard's book on him at the Spectrum show in Kansas City. Since then I've watched a lot of auctions of his sketches but this is the first I've bought. Richard Garrison at OAFCON this last October had a notebook with copies of Krenkels that he was selling on behalf of Pablo Marcos who has some medical expenses. This one really spoke to me -- the partial of the man with a gun and the tinier ones were like bonuses (esp. since many of the ebay lots were around those sizes). It took a while for the art to get here but I'm assuming Marcos had to ship them all to him from overseas. Anyway, I'm just shocked that there are no pencil lines at all, that these seem to be done with just in ink. The paper is about 8 1/2" wide and 9" tall on the right.
