Description

I’ve been searching for a Secret Agent “Lost World” strip ever since I was grossly out bid in the HA on Feb 19, 2015. It was then I realized that Williamson’s finest work on the strip was arguably from the “Lost World” story arc. Since then, one other has crossed my path and after attempts to acquire it, I have come to accept that it is forever locked up by the collector until the day he dies. Finally, this little gem showed up and while it does not feature any of the Dinosaurs that are high in demand, it does have some nice jungle, a helicopter, and of course the Williamson girl to cap off a wonderful 2 panel strip. I’ll still search out the elusive “Lost World” with dino piece, but until then I’m quite happy with this addition!!! As an added bonus, this strip has come out of the Jaxon estate and was inscribed by Williamson to the cartoonist and historian Jack “Jaxon” Jackson!

Any strip taking place in a setting with flora and fauna, such as jungles and any other tropical locale, always make for a more eye catching piece of art. This is really gorgeous, David, congrats on acquiring it!
