When i discovered the Scalped series, this was the first page that i wanted buy to Guera. But Guera did not have it for sale. Years later i went back to ask for it and i had better luck. Despite being one of the first pages that he did, where he was not still getting used to the format and to the type paper, the central vignette is really good. Reading the blog of Jason I found these words about Scalped:It's really flattering that i hear from a lot of people that it's one of their favorites, if not their favorite book. And Scalped is the whole reason i have a comics career. It's the whole reason i'm doing Wolverine and Ghost Rider and everything else. It's not a series that's ever going to sell 100,000 copies a month in the direct market. But it's a book that the people who find it do seem to respond strongly to. I just try to write for myself and please myself. And hopefully if i respond strongly to it, there will be at least a few other people out there who feel the same way.Cuando descubrí la serie Scalped, esta fue la primera pagina que le quise comprar a Guera. Pero por aquel entonces Guera no la tenía en venta. Años después volví a preguntar por ella y tuve mejor suerte. A pesar de ser una de las primeras paginas que hizo, donde todavía se estaba acostumbrando al formato y al papel, la viñeta central es realmente brillante. Leyendo el blog de Jason me encontré estas palabras sobre Scalped:Es realmente halagador escuchar de un montón de gente que Scalped es una de sus series favoritas, si no su favorita. Y Scalped es la razón por la que tengo una carrera de cómics. Es la razón por la que estoy haciendo Wolverine y Ghost Rider y todo lo demás. Se que es una serie que nunca va a vender 100.000 ejemplares al mes en el mercado directo. Pero es un libro que produce una respuesta fuerte en las personas que lo encuentran. Sólo trato de escribir para mí y para complacerme. Y espero que si yo respondo a ella de una forma fuerte, habrá por lo menos unas cuantas personas que sientan lo mismo.
