Description

�� Mick Gray is best known as an inker for J. H. Williams on Promethea and Ryan Sook for various projects. I first met him at a store signing at Treasure Island Comics in Fremont, CA and we were both at an art collectors' dinner in San Jose. We are Facebook friends and I saw he went to see Disney's Moana and came home to watch Studio Ghibli's Princess Mononoke and Howl's Moving Castle with his daughter on December 26th. I asked if he was willing to do a commission and we quickly agreed to terms. Mick posted the piece on January 2nd after rewatching Hayao Miyazaki's Oscar-winner Spirited Away. The drawing arrived in the mail on January 4th. Mick says he was introduced to Kiki's Delivery Service, then Spirited Away by J. H. Williams way back when.
