DescriptionThis page tells a lot about the production of this series. The deadlines were tight, and Jim Shooter pushed for smaller characters in order to impart a larger sense of space. That meant there were a lot of rushed art pages with plenty of statted revisions.This page is unusual because several changes were made without touching the original art. The changes make sense in that Magneto would not have been slowed by the small ball of metal as originally drawn. The changing Thing had to be downsized too so that the metal looked bigger. I still prefer how it originally looked. All they had to do was change the script slightly, rather than lather on the white out and stats.
