Ultimate X-Men 66 page 18 splash by Tom Raney

A fantastic splash page of a very nasty Sabertooth for the ultimate x-men title, straight from the Robert Kirkman’s run. I really liked his run and particularly this story which pits Wolverine against Sabertooth.

I already owned a few pages from their fight but when this splash, THE splash from that story, came available, I had to acquire it.

The viciousness on his face is totally in character and I really like how Tom drew his claws, like those of a big feral cat.

Great complementary inking by Scott Hanna.

I have been a fan of Tom’s art since day one (his try out page in Marvel Age), so I’m delighted to own such a stellar example of his work.
