DescriptionA splendid Black Canary pin up by the nowadays too rare Steve Lightle.This was published in the first issue of JLA-Z. The fact that Steve included 3 iterations (generations?) of Black Canary is an excellent touch. Each is very distinctively drawn (he did not simply draw three time the same face in another costume). The central one looks like she is suspended in the air just before she is about to air kick you. And his inks are rich and lush. This is consistent with his style of that period as it was becoming more “heavy” and shadowy I would say. As always, Steve delivers. A superb artist, truly. Another one I have owned for years. Dated 2003. This is part 10 of my 2017 b-day party on CAF. Social/Sharing |

OHHHHHH I want this. Lightle is one of my favorite artists but I thought he retired
