If Legion is my 1st comic book love, Earth 2 and the JSA is not ever far behind. I was fascinated by the idea of a grown-up Robin, an older Flash etc etc. While not a big fan of the New 52 version which was a lot more darker than I liked, the "World's End " series has provided me with some very cool battle covers from which to draw inspiration.

And so we have a full on assault when heroes of two timelines and two Earth's take on Kang The Conqueror. Again Mikes does an excellent job catching the chaos of battle assisted by Russ with graphics.

That's really nice. Unusual to find a modern cover which works well as commission source material, so this is a very pleasant surprise.

While I tend to go old school, there is a lot of cool modern stuff to draw upon. The Batwoman series is a good example.

Mike and Russell did a great job with this one. But then again I'm a big enough Kang fan that I love this just for the layout :)
