Description

Oh look, it's the very first page of comic art I ever bought. The foundation stone of my collection bought when I was only going to buy a couple of pages to put on the wall with no intention of being one of those 'collectors'. Famous last words! You can't go wrong with art by Stuart and I love how vividly Thor is punching out of the top panel. I also think this is a pretty good monster drawing with all those teeth and claws and sweeping tail and easy destruction at the bottom of the page. It also reminded me of Thor #380 (my favourite Thor comic) even if it's not the 'proper' Midgard Serpent here.

Great page. I nearly bought it years ago but went with for "other" serpent splash instead

Great first page! I remember this one - great splashes of both combatants! Hard to stop the collector bug, Reba ;) Congrats on the pick up!
