Description

This is the original art for the 2016 Ghoul Power, art event of the Century! An Artistic Tribute Celebrating of 45 years of TV Horror Host Legend THE GHOUL! THE GHOUL was a horror host (Ron Sweed) who had a late-night horror movie and comedy sketch show called The Ghoul Show broadcast in Cleveland and Detroit. Most cities had their own late-night horror hosts like John Stanley of Creature Feature or Elvira. THE GHOUL was a crazy low budget show that had intentionally adolescent humor. Including abuse of a rubber frog named "Froggy," lowing up things with firecrackers, and catch phrases like "zingy-zingy," "Overdey!" and "stay sick, turn blue". It was an experience growing up in Detroit in the 70s and seeing this wacked out show. Mitch did a great job capturing THE GHOUL's look and the feel of the show. This piece is massive, 20x30. Stay Sick!!!!!
