DescriptionThis panel has a strange history....during the production of this book, the then Marvel Art Director kept telling me my art-Fx wouldn't work...and to never use airbrush...he was wrong- it printed like a champ...the coloring killed it, but it did print well....( silly note-I always loved those Michael Kaluta & Berni Wrightson crazy perspectives, so I tried to use that sort of effect in the background )Social/Sharing |

Great FX and beautiful perspective! I've never worked for an Art Diretor/Editor, but as a comic art collector, I've heard enough horror stories to know that they aren't always the smartest people to submit art to. I guess we should all just be glad that we have the originals to look at.

cool use of airbrush mike! the cololring did indeed kill some of those effects. i thought the coloring on that book in general was pretty weak,still,the paper and computer coloring just wasn't there yet. at least you were trying some tactics not always common. it makes the art more interesting! good job...
