Description

Another guest star variant featuring the first meeting between Ted Kord and Daredevil.

I asked Bruce to make this a bit different than the original by using the little used Wally Wood first DD uniform. It only lasted two issues (5 and 6)and the the definitive red uniform reigned supreme from issue 7 on.

As usual Bruce McCorkindale is a prince to work with.

Great idea and great design, McCorkindale's work is always superb, especially in person. You should also put in an "additional" picture of the original 1964 Ditko Spiderman issue 16 cover to compare it with this fine piece, for those who don't know this classic image.

I don't think I could have resisted the temptation to substitute the Charlton Thunderbolt for DD in this one, though... 😉
