Picked this one up from the artist in 2005 at the SD Con. Such a wonderful piece for its size. John, to me, is one of the under appreciated artists/designers working in the comics field today. I would truly like to see more of his work, especially covers.

I am sure this one was published.

I found out that this artwork is not for a cover but for a DC cards game VS.

I could be wrong.. but I believe that this piece is the art for a "Lady Schiva" ( ) trading card from one of the DC "VS" card games... ( it could be a different character.. but im pretty sure that i've got the rigth game !) Hope that helps!

You are correct, Stuart. It is for the VS. DC card game. Thanks to you and JVF I finally got the correct title for this piece. Also, thanks for visiting my gallery.
