So I just returned from a wonderful 4 day weekend in SF visiting my brother
Joel, and buddy
Eric. Joel and I attended the SF Symphony featuring Storm Large, we all caught a showing of the new Spider-Man movie (the best of the bunch by our reckoning), shared many delicious meals together (Thai, Italian, Japanese, and some seriously tasty Subs too), and Eric bestowed this wonderful, fully framed by the artist and all set to display, Kent Williams painting upon me. Ostensibly this is a belated Christmas, and Birthday gift; but given the magnitude of this gift I think Eric covered the next decade, and then some, with this generous gesture. I may have to just change the name of my "ART GIFTED TO ME!!!" gallery to "ART GIFTED TO ME BY ERIC!!!", as this is just the latest in a long line of pieces Eric and given me over the years. Thank you so much Eric. I'm already plotting as to how to repay you in kind! ;)
07/16/17 Kent Williams just posted "Rocket's Red Glare" (see attached image), a 50 x 74 inch oil painting on linen which my "Woman With Adornments" and Eric's
"Organic Matter" appear to have been early studies of. It's really cool that we each have an early piece of this magnificent creation.
WANTED!!!
