Description

I know most of you who are looking at this don't know who these three are. I know a lot of you art collectors don't even read comics anymore and I get that. All of our beloved characters from are youth have been rewritten to the point where they are unrecognizable to us. But if you have given up on on comics you are missing out on some truly unique worlds. With this book stories are expressed with no dialogue nor narration. It's all told in the art of Jim Woodring. An artist who has a truly original vision in a medium where everything has been done to death including death. Every time I re-read his stuff I see something new. It reignited my desire to find talent beyond the DC and Marvel universe.

Cool page. Jim's ink work is impeccable and the surreal tales he tells are hypnotic.

Hilarious piece! I "discovered" J.W. browsing for comic art. I'm befuddled how any serious collector would not come across him. His art and strips are certainly unique.
