adam came to denver in may 2004 for smallish comics show. although the theme of the show was exclusively fantasy and gaming for friday and saturday and no comics were there until sunday, adam was there all three days. and although adam wouldn't officially arrive at the hotel until 3 p.m. friday, i went before the dealers set up (at 8 a.m.) with the hope of getting on his commissions list. by complete chance, i bumped into him and allison in the lobby at 9 a.m., and i set this up.
