Description

Writer Robert Kanigher must've liked having the Haunted Tank drive into hay stacks and have German planes crash into it. Both of those things happened in this story, and others later in the series. And no one handled drawing those events like Russ Heath.

Russ told me he thought the plot device of the Haunted Tank hiding in a hay stack was ridiculous. But he drew it well...each and every time Kanigher used it in a story!
