Daphne (Himalayan monal) by Elsa Chang

      Elsa Chang is a character designer at Dreamworks TV Animation and worked previously at Nickelodeon, Paramount Animation, Sony Pictures Animation, and Disney Feature Animation. I noticed her book Mint Corral at my brother’s Stuart Ng Books and got the chance to meet her at CTNX Animation Expo at the Burbank Convention Center in 2014. Elsa had a selection of original ink drawings and I bought a few. I’ll be keeping up with her at http://elasmosaurus.tumblr.com/ and http://elsasketch.blogspot.com/. Since my 2014 purchases, I've seen Elsa do an Inktober of girls and motorcycles. I really wanted one and had a chance at one at a charity auction at CTNX in November 2016, but was outbid. I started following @ElsaSketch twitter and saw news of this offering in a charity auction. The national bird of Nepal, the Himalayan monal, also known as the Daphne.
