Fantastic cover! And thank you for having the good sense to leave well enough alone and not have the personalization in the UPC box erased!!

And, if anything, it seems to me that this trend is accelerating with so much art going through the hands of prominent restorers these days - I have seen more and more examples of personalization removal in pieces that have recently been worked on.
Unless the writing is demonstrably obtrusive to the piece, or personalized to a criminal/pariah or someone who has personally wronged you, leave it alone, folks!!

Silly on every level if not necessary. I have a DC Comics Presents Cover that is yellow stained that I might have restored, but even that is a struggle to do so. The art is the art.
