DescriptionSOLD IN NOV. 2017 FOR $1103!21x24" frame contains original art which has been double-matted to 13.5x16.5". Art is by Sheldon "Shelly" Moldoff (1920-2012), who was Bob Kane's first assistant on "Batman" and became a premiere Golden Age artist drawing Hawkman, again drawing Batman in the Silver Age. Pen and ink w/watercolor art shows Batman and Robin, Batwoman and Batgirl, Ace the Bathound, Alfred Pennyworth, Commissioner Gordon and Bat-Mite w/large Batman shadow in bkg. Dated "'92" w/Moldoff's signature. Mint. Great and classic grouping of the Batman Family of the 1950s. Social/Sharing |
