Mento and Aqualad sketch by Matthew Clark from the New York Comic Convention, October 2017.

This sketch is an homage to my favorite story from the Teen Titans: Spotlight series. In this issue, a deranged Mento kidnapped Aqualad and used his mental powers to keep him prisoner. Garth eventually fights back by using his own mental powers. The great reveal was that villain and hero were more similar than just their powers as they both suffered from great loss of their loved one. It was a great story.
