Maybe from a portfolio? Rudy was very energetic from 1990 to 2005 and drew many detailed inked pieces like this to take to shows. He still has at least 45 detailed inked pieces in his portfolios

Very nice! It also could be a detailed illustration that Nebres brought with other illos to sell at a con or something lo those many years ago. It's really cool!
