Description

On the 2000AD Original Comic Artwork Group, I recently expressed a wish to own more pages of 'The Dead' - and lo and behold, my wish was granted! A glorious title page from a profoundly melancholy episode (of a profoundly melancholy series, if truth be told) in which limbo-wraith Fludd bids farewell to his alien chum Armad - and to the very concept of friendship itself. The final panel is about as evocative as it gets - Belardinelli and Milligan may not have been an obvious combination, but they were certainly a fruitful one.

Thanks to Dave Meaden for being the magic art-genie in this particular instance of wish-fulfilment.
