Description
      Animator Willie Ito had a long career in animation with Disney, Warner Bros., and Hanna-Barbera. He was one of the Americans held in camps during World War II. I've known his name for quite some time. When I saw an auction for this sketchbook drawing, I made it mine. I grew up reading Mickey Mouse comics in the 1960's when Black Pete (aka Pegleg Pete) was a frequent foe.
