Description

Sadly, it seems like there's little hope of removing the color from this Sunday. But I think it's still a great piece! And fortunately, the "That's My Pop!" panel is almost untouched. Prime period for Gross's newspaper work, before he started leaving much (or all) to assistants. Though this page is undated in the artwork, I found it among my Dave's Delicatessen Sunday tear sheets (these were the toppers for that feature at the time).
