Description

A great page from Starman by Peter Snejberg, the artist who is probably the most associated with this splendid serie outside of Tony Harris.

This one originates from the Grand Guignol saga at the end of the serie. Simon Culp is fighting Jack Knight showcasing his spectacular use of his shadow powers. Plus: the Mist!

Bought directly from Peter, he told me Culp was his favorite character from the serie, basically Scrooge with the Shade�s powers. The second panel is excellent as Peter manages to portray him as a very dangerous and creepy individual which is not easy considering he is a dwarf.

The page is superb with great action and choreography/layout. The inks are deep and rich as they should be, showcasing a shadow powered character. The use of light coming from the rod or the Mist�s gun is also top notch.

Peter Snejberg is a splendid storyteller and artist and I think this page is a great example of his abilities.

What an action-filled and dramatic page. Snejbjerg was really on point throughout his Starman run.
