How is it that I just discovered this piece? What a wonderful George Perez cover! An amazing drawing of more characters than any other artist could possibly manage to squeeze onto a cover. But the interesting thing is, they don't feel squeezed. They are all just gathered together easily. That was part of Perez's talent. The thing I really love is the way Perez portrays the Justice Society here, alongside a massive gathering of ordinary Americans. It's the WWII attitude, where the nation stood together as one people. I've never experienced that, but I love seeing it here in Perez's work. Great cover, thanks for sharing.
