John Constantine, Hellblazer

John Constantine is one of my favorite characters in comics.

The Vertigo series has some of the best stories ever done (especially the Ennis run is tremendous) and Sean had a great run drawing the series too. I always loved his take on the character, and was reminded of this when he started doing variant covers for the current DC series.

So as I ordered the final three Criminal trades from his store during his birthday sale, I couldn't pass up the chance to get a sketch of everyone's favorite bastard.

Sean did a great job on this sketch, really nailing Constantine's character (on one of his good days, when he isn't screwing over his friends ;-) ), and I am truly grateful for Sean for doing this for me. He's a great guy!

I cannot recommend picking up something from his BigCartel store enough. He has drawn some truly amazing comics and he sketches in every comic bought in his store, with no additional cost. That's amazingly kind of him, so you should go support him :-)
