Description

Ok so Kevin was done taking sketch requests at ECCC '18 by Friday. Once he was done with his commissions he started working on this Superboy at Kris Anka’s suggestion.

I get to artist alley about 2 pm after a panel and start showing my boyfriend around, introducing him to some creators I’m friendly with. Kevin is working on this sketch and I misheard him and thought he said he wasn’t selling.

So he and my boyfriend are talking and I keep shooting glances at the sketch as he’s coloring with the markers being all bummed. The convo was good though as he is very sweet and my boyfriend is a talker! And then...

“He’s cute I hope someone will buy him.”
“*points to self insistently* That person is me!”
“Really?”
“That is my favorite character!”
“But I didn’t even tell you how much it costs.”
“I don’t care do you take cards?”
