The art has an approximate image area of 18" X 23".

The Hulk battles the Sub-Mariner and his fellow Atlanteans in an intense underwater scene that could have only been rendered by Fastner and Larson in mixed media on board. This team is probably best known for their work on these Marvel Portfolio prints which have stood the test of time as one of the most popular set of prints ever created for the Marvel Universe. Steve Fastner and Rich Larson are well-established for their collaborative painted pin-up and cover art and this is one of the best pieces they have ever created. The piece is huge, much larger than the published print and would be one of the coolest display pieces around for a Hulk or Namor fan. Fastner and Larson's art is just pleasing to look at and has an air brushed feel to it that makes for fantastic covers and display pieces.

The Hulk and his alter ego, Bruce Banner, were created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and first appeared in 1962's Incredible Hulk #1. His hit 1970's TV series helped to propel Hulk into one of the most famous fictional characters on the planet. With popular appearances in the two Avengers movies and his recent 2017 appearance in the highly successful Thor: Ragnarok, the Hulk/Banner, portrayed by accomplished actor Mark Ruffalo, is riding a new wave of popularity among the general public. Next up is his appearance in Avengers: Infinity War opening on May 4th, just a few months from now!

Namor the Sub-Mariner is one of first Marvel characters, making his initial appearance in the seminal Marvel Comics #1 in 1939. With just a couple of short breaks in the early and late 1950s, the Sub-Mariner has been an active character ever since. He's been a member of the the Defenders, the Invaders, the Avengers and even the X-Men. Namor really gets around!
