I�ve always been interested in weird books by the big 2. DC�s Bizarro Comics, Bizarro World, World�s Funniest, Marvel�s Not Brand Echh, Strange Tales, and Nextwave. I like books where artists and writers are given creative freedom. Pope�s work in Strange Tales was great and the fact that he had a chance to work in Kirby�s universe again is great. You see his take on the classic Kirby technology, the Inhumans, and Annihilus. First printed in 2010, on 19x24 Bristol board with hand written dialogue in the panels. Love it!

Gorgeous page, Oscar, for all the reasons you somcorrectly outline! What a treat to see Paul play in the mighty Kirby sandbox, and bring his inimitable style to bear on the creations of one of his formative influences. The results are pure magic, from first panel to last (with my personal favorite being panel five - love the megative space here - go get 'em, Lockjaw!). Beautiful page, Oscar - congrats!
