Supergirl and Supergirl by Ed Benes issue 80 page 13

I have always enjoyed Ed Benes artwork. When he was drawing DCs Gunfire I became a fan of the title. Yes I am one of the two fans of that title! The Artemis limited series drawn by Benes I thought was fun. Then he started drawing Peter David's run on Supergirl . I was very impressed. I just wish DC had let him start doing the covers of Supergirl earlier instead of a sharply different anime artist with a totally different look. I felt that hurt the books chances. The whole Peter David Supergirl storyline that lasted years before Ed joined was another blow to the story. Just my opinions. Nowdays I am looking forward to more Ed Benes art on the current Supergirl and then his upcoming Justice League work.
