Isn't this killer?! This was done on bluish textured paper with charcoal, marker, and chalk... I think. Pretty incredible piece by a dude who made a huge impression on me with the Batman cartoon and his comics work.

I got this before I knew about Bruce Timm. When I was in jr. high, I helped out my local comic shop owner by organizing his collection of portfolio's and posters, which is something he hadn't done for years and years. In the process I found 5 pristine copies of that first Star Wars poster by Chaykin. At the time that poster was worth some serious dough (probably still is), and Ron, the shop owner was stoked. He gave me this, and another Timm drawing, and some cool portfolios by Frazetta, Wrightson, and BWS as payment for helping him out. A couple of years later I met Timm at a show that's when I learned who he was. He was super nice to me and drew a perfect Kirby Demon on an index card and gave it to me, which I still have and will dig up and scan to post. Couple years after that I came across these drawings again and saw the signature and flipped. Plop!
