'80s Rogue! - con sketch by Arthur Adams (1988)

Check out that big '80s hairdo! This was a piece I watched on eBay for a long time as a BIN, but even though I really liked it, I never pulled the trigger. I simply don't tend to buy sketches unless I get them from the artists' themselves or know the seller, and don't like buying secondhand in general since I bought a Turner fake like 10 years ago. But I have been itching to get some new Art Adams artwork, and this is clearly a legit piece from a great period. So when I got a decent eBay Bucks reward certificate back earlier this month for all my recent purchases, I used it toward this and finally just bought it.

When I finally got it in hand and pulled it out, I found that the original owner had folded an inch or so all the way off of the right side, probably to fit a frame or portfolio or something. (pretty common on older art before the hobby blew up) While it pains me to see a long crease all the way down I can't bring myself to trim it either, so I will just leave it unfolded and in a portfolio for a while to see if it ever gets better. So the main image is the art as I bought it, without the right hand part that is folded back, and in the additional images is the entire piece with it unfolded, which includes more of Rogue's hair and centers her head a bit better.
