Thor 200! Amazing Thor battle page with evil Loki potrait as only Buscema can draw it -- fantastic!!!
Nice!!!
One of the best!!
Such strong page! While I respectfully diasgree on Colletta on Kirby, he was definitely not right on Buscema. I love love love Verpoorten on Sal, and he definitely works perfectly on John. Very well chosen!
Fantastic page, congratulations
Gran bella pagina Buscema! Anche gli inchiostri sono perfetti. Complimenti! !
Nice pick up! Buscema on top! Congrats!
Superb example from a classic issue by Big John, especially the wicked Loki panel but I also disagree on your opinion about Colletta inked Kirby Thor, I love his inks on the thunder god and agree with Carlo that his inks strangely worked horribly on Buscema thor pencils.
Excellent piece!
Quite the stunner!
Beautiful page. Four strong panels.
My favorite Buscema page!!
Stunning page! And the last panel!!!
Scintillating page! It's so hard to find that kind of action page these days, and to have a great shot of Loki on there too is amazing.
Such a fantastic page!!
I am just blown away by John Buscema's art on Thor #200. This page is a great example of the many things that make John great. Right from the first panel, you can see that John was fantastic at creating action packed scenes. He was also great at battle scenes, which you can see in panel two. Even with a scene as jam packed as this one, tthere is no question where to look. John is a master of mayhem. But he's also brilliant at characterization. Check out the closeup of Loki in panel four. Has anyone ever drawn a better portrait of the God of Mischief? I think not. This page is ample demonstration of why John Buscema is widely considered one of the true masters of comic art.
