Motor City Comic Con 2018

This was my first time meeting Tom, and although I mostly knew his work from DC, I decided I really wanted a classic Marvel character from him in my Spidey sketchbook. I decided to go with Gwen Stacy, and I'm glad I did! I love the classic feel of this sketch, really capturing Gwen's personality with this stunning image!

Tom has a style that is a perfect bridge between the styles of the 60's to 80's, like Romita, Byrne, Pérez, and the more contemporary styles of the new millenium. So a perfect character choice, and it turned out great, congrats!
