Not much of a fan of Berni's later work, but this is striking and startling. Interesting that the artist has considerably whittled down the bulk of the character here from his original conception.

Are you referring to his work on Batman?
This piece is a wonderfully organic depiction of Swampy. I love the composition.

Great piece!! I wonder if it's a commission, though. By 2007 Bernie had long-ceased taking commissions. The date, quality of the piece, and the way ST is depicted suggest to me that it was one of the pieces intended for the ST portfolio he had planned (and which, sadly, never saw print).
