Description

Luciano Bottaro decise di realizzare questo affettuoso omaggio dopo aver incontrato per la prima volta il suo indiscusso mito in occasione del tour che Barks fece in Italia nell'estate del 1994, luogo dell'incontro il ristorante di Rapallo “U Giancu."

Il maestro ligure, nella realizzazione della tavola originale, si ispirò alla storia di Barks “The Forbidium Money Bin” del 1958, ristampata in Italia nel 1959 su Topolino n. 213 col titolo “Paperon de’ Paperoni e la cassa (troppo) forte”.

Luciano Bottaro decided to realize this affectionate tribute after having met for the first time his undisputed myth on the occasion of the tour that Barks did in Italy in the summer of 1994, the meeting place was the restaurant of Rapallo "U Giancu."

The Ligurian master, in the realization of art, was inspired by the story of Barks "The Forbidium Money Bin" of 1958, reprinted in Italy in 1959 on Topolino n. 213 with the title “Paperon de’ Paperoni e la cassa (troppo) forte”.
