Description

Like many collectors, my collection is shaped by the comics I first read. They bring back those warm fuzzy feelings of days gone by. It is strange to type that Lady Death could bring back warm and fuzzy feelings...LOL.

I like the battle armor that Lady Death is wearing on the page. This page, like most of Hughes' work, is just so detailed. I wish my file had turned out better.

The top panel shows Lady Death and Nightmare (the sword) bonding to bring Lady Death back to life. The imp in the sword's hilt is biting Lady Death's hand and drawing blood. When Nightmare bonds with her it declares, "HA HA HA! DEATH BECOMES HER!" in the second splashy panel.
